Donate to Help Pay Medical Fees for Someone in Need
Every day, lives are lost or permanently altered because vulnerable individuals cannot afford basic medical treatment. From emergency childbirth care to life-saving surgeries and post-accident treatment, the difference between recovery and tragedy often comes down to money. Through PASDO’s Medical Interventions Program, you can help bridge that gap.
Whether it’s $300 to cover emergency childbirth and postnatal care, or up to $1,000 to support major surgery, your donation brings hope, healing, and survival to people who would otherwise go without care. Together, we can ensure that no one is denied a second chance at life simply because they’re poor.
Why Support for Medical Intervention Matters
Healthcare inequality remains one of the most pressing challenges in underserved communities. Too many people suffer preventable deaths or lifelong complications because they cannot afford treatment. Infections go untreated, injuries worsen, and pregnant women face avoidable risks—just because there’s no money for a hospital bed, a cesarean section, or vital medication.
By contributing to PASDO’s Medical Interventions Program, you are giving someone the chance to survive and thrive. Your donation not only restores health—it restores dignity and strengthens families who might otherwise be torn apart by grief or economic collapse caused by illness.
How Donation For Medical Support Works
Your donation is used directly to fund medical interventions for those who urgently need them but lack the means to pay. Based on need and urgency, we allocate:
$300 to support childbirth and postnatal care for a mother and her newborn.
Up to $1,000 to cover surgeries, emergency treatments, or hospital admissions.
You may choose to:
Fully sponsor an individual’s medical care.
Contribute towards a pooled fund that supports several patients based on priority.
When you fully sponsor someone’s treatment, PASDO will provide you with updates on the impact of your support. This may include appreciation messages, letters, or videos from the beneficiary or their family, while preserving their privacy and dignity.
How We Prioritize the Use of Your Donations
At PASDO, we are committed to making every donation count — especially for those who need help the most.
While our medical intervention support is open to everyone who is in need, we give special priority to:
People who are affected by climate change. Whether it’s drought, flooding, gully erosion or crop failure, we direct support to those whose ability to provide for themselves has been disrupted by climate-related crises.
Internally displaced persons and people affected by forced migration, as part of our Migration and Internally Displaced Persons Support Program. These individuals often face disruption of their livelihoods, and are at risk of being overlooked.
The most vulnerable groups, including children, the elderly, persons with physical disabilities, and others.
By prioritizing these groups, we ensure that your donation has the deepest impact.
Our Commitment to Integrity and Accountability
At PASDO, we are committed to the judicious use of every single donation we receive.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of transparency, stewardship, and responsibility, as demonstrated in our Donation Terms and Conditions
Your trust is important to us — and we are honored to turn your generosity into real, lasting impact.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of medical interventions do you cover?
We focus on emergency and essential interventions—such as childbirth care, surgeries, treatment for severe infections, trauma care, and life-saving medications.
Can I sponsor a specific patient?
In most cases, donations go into a shared fund to help those most in need. However, if you contribute the full amount required for a particular intervention, we may match your donation to a specific case and provide follow-up.
Will I be updated about the person I sponsored or the outcome of my donation?
Yes. If you fully sponsor an individual’s medical care, you may receive updates, letters of appreciation, or video messages from the beneficiary or their family—subject to their consent and privacy considerations.
How do you decide who gets medical support?
We work with hospitals, community health workers, and local leaders to identify critical cases. Priority is given based on urgency, vulnerability, and lack of other options.
Can I donate a smaller amount?
Absolutely. Your contribution will be pooled with others to support ongoing or future cases.
Can I donate in honor of someone?
Absolutely. During the donation process, you can specify if your gift is made in honour or memory of someone. We can send a thank-you note on your behalf.
What countries do you accept donations from?
We accept donations from all countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and all countries in Africa, Europe, and Asia. If you’re unable to use the donation form to send in your donation, feel free to contact us to explain your situation and request for an alternative means.
Do you accept bank transfers, debit card, or cryptocurrency?
